Sharon Toups
|
Sharon Toups is the owner, director, and choreographer for Center Stage Productions in Bryan, Texas. She has been
teaching dance for over 23 years and has been running her own studio for 9 years. While completing her Marketing
degree from Texas A&M University, she joined the Aggie Wranglers for 3 years performing all over the U.S. and abroad.
She was the Vice President for the group and directed all dance lessons taught by the Aggie Wranglers at that time.
She started the Lil' Wranglers 7 years ago and patterned them after the Aggie Wranglers. Since that time the Lil'
Wranglers have won several Top Production Awards, and they have performed all over the State of Texas and
internationally on Carnival Cruise lines. Sharon is currently the Technical Advisor for the 2007-2008 Aggie Wranglers.
Sharon has also been involved with other community service projects such as being the choreographer for the Sound of
Music and Godspell at the First United Methodist Church in Bryan. She has also taught the art of dance and music for
Camp OPAS for the past 5 years. Sharon’s dance teams consistently do well at competition, and she has been the
choreographer for many 1st place routines for groups and soloists. Her Platinum All-Star Team won National Champion
2005 at Starbound Nationals. Her Elite Wrangler team won National Champion at Encore Nationals in Las Vegas in the
summer of 2006. She has also been the choreographer for several “Overall Talent” winning performers and
“Overall Title” winners at the Texas State Cinderella Scholarship Program.
Sharon and her husband, David, have two children, Seth and Sarah. Sarah is an award winning dancer and
choreographer. She is currently “Junior Miss Starbound 2006” and “Encore’s Performer of the Year 2006”.
She received the “Jump VIP” award and the “Pulse Protégé” award where she won numerous scholarships to train in
NYC. Seth is an award winning hoofer who perform every year in the off-broadway show, “Slide.” He is also Mr.
Adrenaline 2007. Outside of dance, Seth plays Quarterback for his football team and serves as Captain for the
Elite Wranglers and Street Crew. Both children have been dancing for 9 years.

| Diana Wilcox |
Diana began her career in dance at the age of two. Her mother was a professional ballet teacher and performer, so she grew up in the dance studio. She studied classical and modern ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics and was member of the Little Rock Junior Ballet Company. Over the years she continued her studies in dance under the direction of many well-known and respected teachers. She studied classical ballet with Christine Duboulay in Chicago and Peggy Willis at the Texas Tech University Dance Dept. She studied modern and liturgical dance with Jerry Bywaters Cochran and tap with Buster Cooper and Al Gilbert.
In 1992 Diana opened her own studio and founded Dance Arts Los Alamos, where she was artistic director, teacher and choreographer for five years. During this time she also performed in and choreographed many local musical theatre productions, including those for the Los Alamos Light Opera and the Los Alamos High School Olions. She directed choreographed and performed in Los Alamos’ first annual production of the The Nutcracker in 1995. She was recently an honored guest in Los Alamos for the studio’s tenth birthday celebration.
Diana hopes to be able to continue to share her lifelong love of dance in her new hometown of Bryan/College Station. In 2002, at Sharon Toups' request, she began to develop a classical ballet program at Center Stage Productions® especially for students who are interested in the study and performance of classical ballet. Diana is married to Brad Wilcox. They have three grown daughters; Kellie, Kristin and Ellen. Diana and Ellen are excited to be teaching together and sharing their love of dance with the students of Sharon’s Dance Center.

| Pam Marvin |
Pam is a graduate of Texas A&M University, class of '87 with a degree in Political Science. Her family has made their home in Bryan/College Station since 1991 where she has been a homemaker, a Volunteer director and active civic volunteer. She and her husband Paul are members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and they have five children, three of which dance in the studio. Her family has been with Center Stage Productions® since the beginning in 1998. She currently serves as the business manager and brings the parents perspective to our staff.

| Sarah Hahn |
Sarah Hahn began dancing at the age of two. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical and at the age of ten began dancing competitively. Sarah has danced at Tremaine, LA Underground and West Coast Dance Explosion where she attended master classes from Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Dee Caspry, Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, Cindy Ricaldi and Liz Imperial to name a few. Through her competitive season she was a member of platinum award winning groups, duets and was a platinum award winning soloist. At the age of 14 Sarah was recognized by LA DanceMagic with a scholarship based upon her ballet technique. At the age of 16 Sarah become the youngest performer and soloist to dance in Texas A&M University sanctioned shows including The Faculty Arts Show and the Dance Arts Society Showcase. Upon graduation from Bryan High School in 2003, Sarah attended Texas A&M University where she was accepted into their pre-professional dance company, EmSu. During her time with EmSu, Sarah traveled as a primary dancer for guest performances in Galveston, Arlington and New Orleans. In 2005, Sarah was honored to perform a duet dedicated to Gus Giordano during his Heritage Award Luncheon in Chicago. Sarah began teaching her first ballet class at age 17 after assisting other teachers for five years previous.
Sarah is excited to share her love of dance with the talented dancers at Center Stage Productions!

| Shelley Carlson |
|
Shelley Carlson has been trained in jazz, lyrical, and modern. She has also been dancing competitively since five years old. She grew up in Kingwood, TX, dancing with the Stacey's Dance Studio, also known as the Kingwood Strutters. She started teaching and choreographing at the young age of fourteen years old and has continued to do so since then. In high school, she danced with the International-award winning Kingwood Fillies Dance Team.
During her years with the Fillies, her team won 1st at all the Nationals and International competitions that they attended each year. She traveled to California and Florida to compete with the most talented dancers in the Nation. Shelley started choreographing her own solos at 15 years old and has gotten numerous awards ranging from 2nd-4th places at local competitions to making the top 15 soloists out in California at Miss Dance Drill Team USA Pageant, where she not only was judged on dancing ability, but also on personality, speaking ability, and modeling. She has choreographed many award-winning solos and ensembles, both nationally and locally recognized, for both Kingwood Strutters and CenterStage Productions. She is currently a senior at Texas A&M University, studying Nutritional Sciences. During her years at Texas A&M, she has continued to dance with Dance Arts Society. She also was chosen by Molly Snell, an A&M dance professor, to be in a few of her pieces, which were performed in and around the Houston area. This will be Shelley's fourth year with CenterStage Productions.
